Senior Project: Tolosa Winery Tech Sheets

Starting in the fall of 2021, I began the early stages of redesigning Tolosa Winery’s Tech Sheets and making them more visually appealing and accessible to the general public. A tech sheet is an info sheet about a particular type (varietal) of wine is produced each year (vintage). These sheets detail everything from nose and palate notes that a consumer can detect when experiencing the wine, the vineyard that the grapes were sourced from, and winemaker notes about that particular vintage and varietal. In total, there are 14 tech sheets covering two different tiers that are offered at the winery.

I utilized InDesign to create the document layout and QR code, SmugMug and Adobe Stock for stock images at the bottom of the page, and did vast background research to decide on which elements were most important to include, and to give myself an immersed education in the industry to ensure that I was doing the topic justice.
